Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian who has been around for some time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland, on 16th March 1984. She was on QI, alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few part on Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. She was already regularly performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. In 2012, following her was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear often in various panel shows. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is a popular contestant of the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sister called Sinead. She became only the second female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. The surname of Bea is in honor of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who committed suicide at three-years-old. She was not aware of the cause for her father's death until she was 13 years old. Bea adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father and she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea's mom Helen, who is also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was responsible for the care of her daughter and Sinead. They were both passionate about horses, races as well as the race industry. Bea began her career as a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she realized her love was acting, not racing.
